Industrial food photography is one of the essential needs for restaurants and fast-food establishments to beautifully showcase the details of their dishes.
This type of photography can show a food dish, full table photography, or industrial food photography on a background or white or black background to control the viewer’s attention.
Fish dish food photography
Seafood has a big difference with other types of food photography and that is the higher amount of meat texture details that should get more attention in photography.

Advertising food photography with natural decorations
One of the points that helps with the beauty of some decorative images in food photography is a halo of decorations on the table, which you can see in the picture below.

Food photography equipment
I used a Canon 5d Mark iii camera with 3 lenses and lighting equipment for this food photography project.
- Canon 50mm prime lens, Canon 70-24mm lens, and Canon 100mm macro lens
- Black velvet background
- Godox 600-joule flash and 200-joule auxiliary flash
This project was done as a mobile photography and equipment was moved to the restaurant and photographed for about 10 hours.
In general, staged photography, also known as still life photography, is the best method for photographing food or any other product, although it requires more time and effort than other product photography styles.
